JSSC Acharya Teacher Recruitment 2025: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has announced the recruitment of a large number of teacher positions under the Trained Secondary Acharya Combined Competitive Examination 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the commission, jssc.jharkhand.gov.in. A total of 1373 posts will be filled, and the application process has commenced from June 27, 2025.

Last Date for Application and Opportunity for Correction

The last date for online application for JSSC Acharya Teacher recruitment is July 27, 2025. Candidates who need to make corrections in the application form will be given time from August 2 to August 4, 2025.

Who Can Apply

Candidates applying for these posts must have a postgraduate degree from a recognized university along with a B.Ed degree. Along with the educational qualification, knowledge of the relevant subjects in which the appointment is to be made is also required.

Complete Information on Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidates applying should be 21 years. The maximum age limit is determined according to the category:

  • General and EWS category: 40 years
  • OBC category: 42 years
  • Female candidates: 43 years
  • Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe: 45 years

Examination Fee and Exemptions

The application fee for General, OBC, and other state candidates is fixed at ₹100. For SC/ST category candidates of Jharkhand state, the application fee is only ₹50. The fee can be paid through online mode.

Salary and Job Benefits

Acharya teachers selected under JSSC will receive a salary of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month under the 7th pay scale. Along with this, all the facilities of a government teacher, such as pension, holidays, and allowances, will also be provided.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Candidates will be selected through a Computer Based Test (CBT). This exam will be conducted in two shifts.

  • Paper-I will consist of multiple-choice questions related to General Knowledge, Computer Operation, Hindi, and English, carrying 200 marks.
  • Paper-II will be subject-specific, with questions worth 300 marks. This paper will be based on the subject in which the candidate is to be appointed.
