JSSC-CGL Paper Leak Case Under CID Investigation After Abhay Tiwari Interrogation

The alleged JSSC-CGL paper leak is under CID investigation after questioning of Abhay Tiwari, with claims involving advance access to questions, payments from candidates, memorisation sessions in Bokaro and the role of the examination agency.

The alleged paper leak in the JSSC-CGL examination is under investigation after CID questioning of Abhay Tiwari, who was arrested in the JPSC merit scam case. According to the claims emerging from the interrogation, questions were allegedly provided to candidates before the examination, made them memorise the questions and answers, and money was allegedly collected from candidates.

The investigation into the alleged paper leak in the JSSC-CGL examination in Jharkhand has intensified following claims made during CID questioning of Abhay Tiwari, who was arrested in the JPSC merit scam case. The alleged disclosures relate to the September 2024 JSSC-CGL examination and the purported provision of questions to candidates before the test.

According to the claims, Tiwari provided information about some candidates allegedly being given questions before the examination and being made to memorise them. The allegations can be confirmed only after completion of the investigation and examination of official evidence.

The CID is investigating the alleged process of the paper leak and the roles of those involved. The investigation covers the alleged provision of questions before the examination, their transmission to candidates and the alleged financial transactions.

According to claims attributed to sources linked to the interrogation, large amounts of money were allegedly collected from some candidates following the purported paper leak. The information states that around 15 candidates allegedly paid Rs 12 lakh each, amounting to an alleged transaction of around Rs 1.80 crore.

The investigating agency is examining the alleged financial transactions to determine through whom the money was collected, where it was used and who was involved.

The interrogation allegedly revealed that around 65 questions were provided to candidates in advance and that they were made to memorise them. According to the claim, several candidates were called to a person's house in Bokaro, where they were allegedly made to memorise the questions and answers.

Another piece of information emerging during the investigation reportedly states that around 45 candidates were taken there. The CID is examining the claim and trying to establish what actually occurred at the location.

The role of Webel company has also come under investigation in the case. During questioning, a claim emerged that the work of printing the examination question paper had been assigned to Webel company.

The investigating agency is examining whether there was any breach of security during the preparation and printing of the question paper. Documents and procedures related to the examination are also being examined.

The names of Mithilesh Singh and Umakant Pramanik have also reportedly emerged during CID questioning. Tiwari allegedly provided information about being in contact with both of them.

The investigating agency is examining the relationship between the individuals and whether they had any connection with the alleged paper leak. Each claim emerging in the case is being verified against available documents, statements and other evidence.

Tiwari's own success in the JSSC-CGL examination is also part of the investigation. According to the available information, he had cleared the JSSC-CGL examination and was reported to have secured rank 48. Information has also emerged that his brother Akshay Tiwari and wife Sushma Kumari were selected for government jobs.

The CID is now examining Tiwari's alleged role in the purported paper leak network and the extent of his links with other people connected to the examination.

The CID investigation is examining the alleged paper leak, the examination process and the role of agencies involved in conducting the JSSC-CGL examination. The allegations and the alleged network will become clearer after the investigation is completed and the claims are verified through evidence.
