UP Politics: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) and its president, Akhilesh Yadav. Speaking in Gonda on Saturday, he stated that Akhilesh Yadav's PDA was actually a "Family Development Agency," with Akhilesh himself as the chairman and members of his family as directors. Maurya was in attendance to pay tribute to the late leader Kunwar Anand Singh.
Political attack regarding PDA
Maurya said that Akhilesh Yadav's PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) was merely a pretense. In reality, it is a means of promoting dynastic politics. He alleged that the SP prioritizes only the interests of its family and special people. Maurya sarcastically said that Akhilesh Yadav cannot accept any leader from the OBC category and that is why he is afraid of them.
Claim of BJP's victory in 2027
The Deputy Chief Minister claimed that the BJP would form the government again with a thumping majority in the 2027 assembly elections. He said that whether the SP, BSP or Congress contest elections together or separately, the support of the public will remain with the BJP. He said that the fate of those whom the public rejected in 2017 would be the same in 2027.
Allegation of protecting mafias against SP
Maurya alleged that the SP is a protector of criminals, goons, and mafias. He said that during its rule from 2012 to 2017, the SP pursued politics of appeasement and b-arm tactics. Then, there was no concern for the backward classes, Dalits, or upper castes. Now, PDA is being discussed for votes.
Expressed pride in being a son of a poor farmer
Maurya described himself as the son of a poor farmer's family and said that he rose from being a small organizational worker to become the Deputy Chief Minister. That is why people like Akhilesh Yadav are scared of his growing political stature. He said that the SP leaders are not connected to grassroots politics, and that is their biggest weakness.

Keshav Maurya labeled Akhilesh Yadav as arrogant and said that the level of his language is becoming very low. He said that when political history is written in the future, this attitude of Akhilesh will be recorded in it.
Paid tribute to Kunwar Anand Singh
Remembering the late leader Kunwar Anand Singh, Maurya said that his life was spent in social service and for the benefit of farmers. He met with MP from Gonda and Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, and expressed his condolences. After this, he also reviewed the local development works.
Targeted Akhilesh again in Bahraich
In another event in Bahraich, Maurya again attacked the SP chief. He said that when the SP was in power, they did not remember the backward classes, Dalits, and upper castes. At that time, their priority was only appeasement and protecting criminals.
