Amidst Iran-Israel War, Khamenei's Nephew Demands End to Islamic Rule

Iran: Amidst the ongoing war between Iran and Israel, a shocking voice has emerged from within the family of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Mahmoud Moradkhani, Khamenei's nephew, living in exile in France, has declared the Islamic Republic's rule the biggest obstacle to peace. He asserted that the regime's end is necessary, regardless of the means. Moradkhani and Reza Pahlavi, son of the former Shah, have both called for regime change, escalating political instability within Iran.

Khamenei's Nephew's Strong Condemnation

In an interview, Mahmoud Moradkhani, nephew of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that while he does not support the war, he firmly believes genuine peace in Iran can only be achieved with the end of the current Islamic regime.

Speaking from France, Moradkhani explicitly stated, “Whoever can end this regime is necessary. Now that we have reached this point, it must be done.” This statement comes as the war between Iran and Israel enters its second week, with regional tensions steadily escalating.

The End of the Islamic Republic as the Only Path to Peace

Moradkhani, who left Iran in 1986, has been a staunch critic of his uncle Khamenei's authority and the ruling system. He expressed deep sorrow over the military conflict with Israel but considered it inevitable under a regime unwilling to accept any form of reform.

He stated, “This regime neither bends nor attempts to change. Therefore, there is no possibility of peace. I am saddened that the situation has reached this point, but the solution lies in the end of this regime.”

Will Khamenei's Death End the Regime?

When asked if Khamenei's assassination could bring about the regime's end, he replied, “That's a separate issue. The death of a single individual cannot end the entire system. But if this system is heading towards its end, the sooner it ends, the better.”

He added that the internet blackout in Iran prevents him from contacting his supporters within the country, but he believes the Iranian people are satisfied seeing signs of the regime's weakness.

America and Trump's Aggressive Role

International pressure on Iran is also steadily increasing. Former US President Donald Trump hinted at military action against Iran's nuclear sites on social media, demanding unconditional surrender. Reports indicate Trump discussed military options to dismantle the nuclear program with his advisors, though no final order has yet been issued.

Former Shah's Son's Sharp Attack

Reza Pahlavi, son of Iran's former Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, also issued a bly worded statement against the Islamic regime on social media. He stated that Khamenei “has gone underground like a scared rat, and the Islamic Republic is in its final stages.”

Reza Pahlavi further stated, “This regime is now heading towards its end. The process that has begun cannot be stopped. The future is bright, and we will navigate this decisive turning point in Iranian history together.”
