Remained in Government House After Term Ended

It is known that Kirron Kher's term as MP ended last year. Despite this, she continued to reside in the government house from January 6, 2025, to April 12, 2025. The administration has deemed this period as unauthorized and has imposed a 200 percent penalty, seeking to recover ₹8.20 lakh.

Option to Pay Dues via Demand Draft or Fund Transfer

The administration has instructed Kirron Kher to deposit this outstanding amount as soon as possible via demand draft or fund transfer. This amount is requested to settle the license fee and penalty related to the occupancy of the government residence. Legal action may be taken if payment is not made in a timely manner.

BJP Leaders Demand a Humane Approach

Some BJP leaders have stated that Kirron Kher has been ill for a long time. In such a situation, the administration should adopt a humane approach and establish communication with her. Due to her illness, she has often been absent from public events and parliamentary work. Leaders believe that sensitivity should be exercised in this entire matter.

Current MP Has Already Received New Housing

Notably, the currently elected MP has already been allotted a new government house in Sector 16. In this situation, Kirron Kher's old residence is being considered an illegal occupation by the administration. For this reason, the process of recovering penalties and additional fees has been initiated.
