A severe collision between a truck and a pickup near Nilothi village in Bahadurgarh resulted in the death of 5 people and serious injuries to 17 others. The impact of the accident was so severe that people in the pickup were thrown onto the road. The deceased include women and children, making the incident even more tragic.
All Were Traveling from Uttar Pradesh to Mahendragarh
All those injured and deceased in the accident are said to be residents of Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. They were traveling to Mahendragarh when this tragic incident occurred. After the accident, the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, and those seriously injured were referred to Rohtak PGI.
People Scattered on the Road After the Collision
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred near the KMP to Katra Expressway interchange. Both the truck and the pickup were heading towards Manesar. The sudden collision was so intense that the people sitting in the pickup were thrown out onto the road. Chaos ensued at the scene, and nearby people immediately informed the police.
Police and Relief Team Took Charge
Upon receiving the information, the KMP police station team reached the spot. With the help of local people, the police sent the injured to the hospital. Regrettably, four people died before reaching the hospital. The fifth person succumbed to injuries on Wednesday morning at Rohtak PGI.
Identification of the Deceased Underway
The police stated that the identification of the deceased is in progress. Their families have been informed, but they have not yet reached Bahadurgarh. A pall of gloom has descended over the entire area due to the accident. Asoda police station is carrying out further investigations in this matter.
