Ambedkarnagar. A young man from the district called a woman residing at his elder brother's in-laws' house around 11 PM, under the pretext of giving her some items. There, he forcibly applied vermillion (sindoor) to her hairline and then had physical relations with her. The woman was also threatened — "If you tell anyone, your entire family will be killed."
Police stated that the accused had been close to his sister-in-law's younger sister for some time and was pressuring her for marriage. When the family refused, he took this step. Following the incident, a case was registered based on the complaint, and the accused has been arrested and presented in court.
