Ayodhya: The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated a large-scale process for the appointment of doctors to enhance the healthcare system. A total of 36 new doctors are being recruited, with 11 of them allocated to Ayodhya district. This move is expected to improve medical facilities in government hospitals and health centers.
According to the Health Department, many districts have long faced a shortage of doctors, which has prevented patients from receiving timely treatment. The deployment of these new medical professionals is expected to bring positive changes to local health services.
Ayodhya district operates five district hospitals, 14 community health centers, and 34 primary health centers — the deployment process is being initiated at all these locations, keeping in mind the challenges arising from the shortage of medical professionals.
Under the recruitment process, the last date for applications has been set for November 26, following which the selection and deployment procedures will commence.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sushil Kumar Baniyan stated that selected doctors would be prioritized for hospitals and health centers where the shortage of medical professionals is particularly acute.
