Application Process Start Date

Application Form Correction Facility
The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board has provided candidates with the facility to make corrections in their application forms. Candidates will be able to make corrections to their applications from October 30 to November 22, 2025. For this, they will have to pay a correction fee of ₹50. This facility will only be available to candidates who have applied within the stipulated time frame.
Examination Date
The MP SET 2025 examination will be conducted on January 11, 2026. The examination will be held in two papers on the same day. The board will issue updates on the official website in case of any change in the examination date. Therefore, candidates should regularly check the website.
Examination Fees
The application fee for the MP SET examination has been determined category-wise.
For native residents of Madhya Pradesh:
- A fee of ₹250 will be charged from candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories.
- For candidates from other states or General Category:
- The application fee has been fixed at ₹500.
All candidates must submit the application fee through online mode. Fees will not be accepted through any other medium.
Educational Qualification (Eligibility Criteria)
Only those candidates who have passed their Post Graduation examination with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the MP SET 2025 examination.
- Reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS) will be provided with a prescribed relaxation in marks.
- Candidates currently studying in their final year of Post Graduation can also apply.
- Such candidates will be awarded the eligibility certificate only after passing the examination.
Examination Pattern
Candidates for MP SET 2025 will be selected through two papers. Both papers will be conducted on the same day.
Paper-1 (General Paper)

The total duration for both papers will be 3 hours. A notable point is that there will be no Negative Marking in the examination, meaning marks will not be deducted for incorrect answers.
Examination Centres
The MP SET examination will be conducted in major cities across the state. Candidates can select their preferred examination centre while applying. The final examination centre information will be provided by the board in the admit card. Changes to the examination centre will not be permitted later.
Admit Card Release Date
Admit cards for the MP SET 2025 examination will be released on the board's website approximately 7-10 days before the examination. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards by entering their application number and Date of Birth. The admit card will contain details of the examination centre, timings, and other essential instructions.
Results and Eligibility Certificate
The results for MP SET 2025 will be released within a few weeks of the examination's conclusion. Successful candidates will be provided with an MP SET Eligibility Certificate, which qualifies them for positions such as Associate Professor, Sports Officer, or Librarian.
This certificate remains valid for life, and candidates can apply to any university or college in the state based on it.
