According to information released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the NEET PG result will be declared on September 3, 2025. This day is going to be very important for the 2.42 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam this time.
After the result is declared, candidates will be able to check their marks and rank. A few days later, the NBEMS will also activate the scorecard link. After this, the counseling process will begin based on the rank. It is expected that counseling may start from September 20, 2025.
When and How was the NEET PG 2025 Exam Conducted?
This year, NEET PG 2025 was conducted on August 3rd. The examination was held at 1052 examination centers in 301 cities across the country. A total of 2.42 lakh candidates, aspiring to pursue post-graduation in medicine, took the exam this time.
This examination is conducted every year for MBBS graduates who wish to take admission in MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB, or NBEMS Diploma courses.
Where and How to Check the Result
According to the notice released by NBEMS, the NEET PG 2025 Result will be declared on the official website natboard.edu.in. The result will be released in PDF format, which will contain the candidates' application ID, roll number, percentile, and rank.
The method to check the result will be as follows:
- First, visit the official website natboard.edu.in.
- Go to the Public Notice section on the home page.
- Here you will see the link “Result of NEET-PG 2025”, click on it.
- After this, the PDF of the result will open, which will contain the details of all the candidates.
- Candidates can search for their details using their application ID and roll number.
When will the Scorecard be Available?
After the result is declared, the scorecard will also be made available to the candidates. NBEMS will activate the link to the scorecard a few days after the result. To download the scorecard, candidates will have to enter their login details.
The scorecard will contain your percentile, all India rank, and other information. This scorecard will be required for the counseling and admission process.
When and How will the Counseling be Conducted?
The counseling process will begin after the NEET PG 2025 Result is released. It is expected that the counseling will start by September 20, 2025. The counseling will be organized by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
Through this counseling, candidates will get admission in medical colleges across the country.

- 50% seats of All India Quota
- 100% seats of Deemed and Central Universities
- Seats of AIIMS and other medical institutions
- 100% admission on All India Open DNB seats
