NEET UG Result 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the result for the second phase of NEET UG Counselling 2025 on September 17, 2025. Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round must report to their respective allotted colleges between September 18 and 25 to secure admission. Seats of students who do not report for admission within the stipulated time will be cancelled.

Where to Check the Result

Students who participated in the NEET UG Round 2 Counselling can check their results on the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. MCC has also provided a direct link to the result. After logging in, candidates can download the PDF to see which college has been allotted to them.

Round 2 Counselling Process

MCC had accepted registrations for Round 2 Counselling until September 14. Following this, the Choice Filling and Locking process took place from September 14 to 15. Now, after the result declaration, students need to report to the allotted college.

Candidates can easily check their result on the MCC website by following the steps given below:

  • First, visit mcc.nic.in.
  • Click on the UG Medical link.
  • In the Current Events section, click on Provisional Result for Round 2 of UG Counselling 2025.
  • A PDF file will open.
  • Here you can check which college you have been allotted based on your All India Rank.

Opportunity to Lodge Objections

If any candidate finds any error in the result, they can send their objection via email by September 18, 10 AM. MCC has issued the email ID for this purpose ([email protected]). If no objections are received by the stipulated time, this result will be considered final.

Admission Schedule

Students who have secured seats in the second round must report to the institution between September 18 and 25, 2025. Document Verification will also be conducted at the college during this period. Therefore, students are advised to keep all necessary documents ready in advance.

Increase in MBBS Seats

There has been a change in the seat matrix for MBBS admissions this year. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has increased seats by 6,850 while removing 1,000 seats. The total number of MBBS seats across the country has now increased to 1,23,700. This is a piece of great relief news for medical students.
