Bihar Election: The first phase of voting for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 is scheduled for November 6. As the election atmosphere intensifies, accusations and counter-accusations among leaders have also escalated. In this vein, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, has claimed that Tejashwi Yadav will lose from the Raghopur seat this time. He stated that Tejashwi Yadav is playing the role of a villain, not a hero.
Nityanand Rai's Statement
Nityanand Rai stated that the results would be clear after the first phase of polling on November 6 and the second phase on November 11. He recalled that Tejashwi Yadav had also dreamt of becoming Chief Minister in 2020, but it did not materialize.
According to Nityanand Rai, the atmosphere created by RJD supporters at that time had shaken Bihar, and those same incidents would weigh heavily on them in this election as well. He claimed that Tejashwi Yadav would face defeat even from the Raghopur seat this time.
Accusation of Tejashwi Yadav Losing Public Support
BJP leader Nityanand Rai also stated that Tejashwi Yadav has lost his public support in Bihar, making any talk of him becoming Chief Minister futile. He remarked that efforts are made to portray Tejashwi Yadav as a hero, while the public views him as a villain. Nityanand Rai alleged that corruption, scams, protection of criminals, and creating an atmosphere of fear have been associated with Tejashwi Yadav's name, and the public is now fully aware of these issues.
Claim of Public Discontent in Raghopur
Nityanand Rai stated that the people of Raghopur feel cheated. According to him, when people went to meet their representative, they were met with rudeness. He also alleged that under Tejashwi Yadav's instructions, people were mistreated by the police and goons. Nityanand Rai concluded that this time, the people of Raghopur want development, respect, and service to the region, and therefore, they have decided to bring about change.
