Exam City Intimation Slip May Be Released Today
The wait is almost over for the lakhs of candidates who have applied for the UGC NET June 2025 exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) may release the UGC NET Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 on the official website at any time. This slip will inform candidates about their assigned exam city. However, it is not an admit card; it only provides the exam city information to allow students to plan their travel in advance.
How and Where to Download the City Slip
Candidates need to follow these simple steps to download the exam city slip:
- First, visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Find the link “UGC NET City Intimation Slip June 2025” on the homepage and click on it.
- A new page will open where candidates need to enter their Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
- After clicking the submit button, your city intimation slip will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print it for future reference.
Note that this slip only provides the exam city information. You will need an admit card to appear for the exam.
Admit Card Release Date
The Admit Card is mandatory for appearing in the UGC NET exam. The NTA will release the admit card four days before the exam, i.e., on June 21st, 2025. Candidates can download it from ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The admit card will contain the exam center, roll number, exam date, shift timings, and other necessary instructions. Entry to the exam center will not be granted without the admit card and a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID).
UGC NET June 2025 Exam Dates
This time, the NTA will conduct the UGC NET June 2025 exam from June 25th to June 29th, 2025. Exams will be held for a total of 85 subjects.
Exam Format and Shift Details
The UGC NET 2025 will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be held in two shifts each day:
First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Candidates should ensure they reach the center at least one hour before the exam time to allow sufficient time for biometric verification, identity verification, and other formalities.
