Punjab's Information Minister, Azma Bukhari, has responded sharply to this issue. She said that Imran Khan's sons did not come to Pakistan when their father was injured, so why are they suddenly remembering the country now? Bukhari clarified that if they try to create disorder in the country, the law will act strictly. According to her, the government will not allow anyone to spread chaos, regardless of who they are.
Imran's Ex-Wife's Statement
Imran Khan's former wife, Jemima Goldsmith, has reacted bly to this issue via social media. She accused the government of pursuing personal vendettas. Jemima wrote, "My children are not even allowed to talk to their father. Imran Khan has been in solitary confinement for the past two years. Now it is being said that if his sons come to Pakistan, they will also be put in jail. This is not politics, this is personal enmity."
Opposition's Allegation: Government's Behavior is Dictatorial

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi reiterated the same point. He said that no one is above the law in the country. If anyone tries to break the law, they will have to face the consequences, regardless of their status.

While most government leaders have taken a hard stance, PML-N MP Irfan Siddiqui has taken a comparatively softer stance. He said that if Suleman and Qasim participate in the demonstrations peacefully, they should be allowed. However, if they violate any law, the law will take its course.
Qasim Khan's Reaction
Imran Khan's son, Qasim Khan, posted on X (formerly Twitter) that his father is not even allowed to meet lawyers, doctors, and family. He wrote, "This is not justice, but a plan to break a leader who has always advocated for democracy and the rule of law."

Jemima Goldsmith's tweets have brought this issue to the forefront, not only in Pakistan but also internationally. According to her, the children are not even being given the right to meet their father and inquire about his well-being.
