Patna: Big news is coming from Patna, Bihar. The Shri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib Gurudwara received a threat via email, stating that four RDX devices were planted in the Langar Hall. Following the threatening email, panic spread through the Gurudwara, and the administration immediately informed the police. Police conducted a search operation throughout the premises, but no explosive material was found.

This incident has once again raised security concerns in the capital. The Gurudwara management maintained an alert status to ensure the safety of staff and devotees. The incident has created an atmosphere of tension in the area.

Revelation of Threatening Email Received by Patna Sahib Gurudwara

An unknown individual sent a suspicious email to the official email address of Takht Shri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib. The email instructed VIPs and staff present in the Langar Hall to evacuate immediately before an explosion. This email was handed over to the police immediately after being read by officials of the Gurudwara Management Committee.

The email also mentioned Pakistan and ISI. The sender of the email wrote messages like 'Pakistan Zindabad, ISI Zindabad'. This clearly indicates that the objective of the threat is not only to challenge the Gurudwara but also the local administration and security agencies.

Patna Police Conducted Search Operation at Gurudwara

Upon receiving the information, Patna Police arrived at the Gurudwara and conducted a search operation in the Langar Hall. SP (East) Parichay Kumar stated that no suspicious object was found during the investigation, but the entire complex was kept on high alert as a precaution. Police have also increased security in the areas surrounding the Gurudwara.

The police team enhanced surveillance of the entire complex with the help of cameras and security guards. Officials stated that no actual threat has been found so far, but the investigation into the suspicious email is ongoing. Efforts are also being made to ascertain the origin and sender of the email.

Connection of Patna Sahib Threat with Previous Incidents Revealed

Prior to the threat received by the Patna Sahib Gurudwara, serious incidents had occurred in the capital. Recently, the Patna Civil Court also received a bomb threat via email. That email stated that four RDX IEDs had been planted in the courtroom and campus, and a warning was given to evacuate the judges.

During the investigation of the Patna Civil Court threat case, a Tamil Nadu connection emerged. The threatening email was sent in the name of Nivetha Pethuraj Udhayanidhi of the 'Dravidian Model Club'. This makes it clear that threatening emails in the capital could be part of a different network and strategy.

Security Increased at Gurudwara After Threat

Following the threat, the Gurudwara management took special measures for the safety of staff and devotees. All individuals present in the Langar Hall were moved to safe locations, and police patrolling in the complex was intensified. The administration also increased vigilance in the surrounding areas.

Experts believe that such threatening emails are usually sent to create psychological pressure and test the readiness of security agencies. The administration has appealed to citizens not to believe rumors and to immediately report any suspicious activities to the police.
