PM Modi received a personal invitation to the summit from Canada's newly elected Prime Minister, Mark Carney, which he has accepted.
Major International Condemnation of Pakistan Possible
At the summit, PM Modi will once again prominently raise the issue of terrorism. Sources suggest he may publicly expose Pakistan's terror-supporting policies. Especially after Operation Sindur, in which India delivered a b response to Pakistan's terrorist networks, PM Modi will apprise the global community of India's security concerns in this context.

India categorically rejected these allegations and demanded evidence from Canada, which remains unprovided.

India has made it clear that Canada must take special care of PM Modi's security during his visit. Sikh separatist groups are protesting PM Modi's visit and had pressured PM Carney not to invite him. Therefore, India wants Canada to ensure strict security arrangements during this visit and take action against anti-national elements.

During the G7 summit, Prime Minister Modi is also expected to meet with US President Donald Trump. The two leaders last met in Washington in February.
