During the ceremony, saints will welcome the Prime Minister with Vedic chants, conch shell sounds (shankhnaad), and the ringing of bells, which will make the atmosphere of the event even more sacred and dignified.

Saint Community and BJP Leadership Accelerate Preparations

The presence of thousands of saints is being ensured to make the flag-hoisting ceremony unique and unforgettable. The Prime Minister will be welcomed with Vedic chants, conch shell sounds, and the ringing of bells. In this sequence, Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, BJP Metropolitan President Kamlesh Srivastava, and other office bearers are meeting the mahants (head priests) of the city's prominent temples to invite them to the ceremony.

Saints from several prestigious temples, including Jagannath Temple, Amava Temple, and Mahant Ramsharan Das of Rangmahal Temple, will participate in this historic event. BJP representatives are contacting every establishment and business institution to finalize the welcome and felicitation preparations.

MLA Ved Prakash Gupta described it as a moment of pride for Ayodhya. According to him, the Prime Minister's arrival will further strengthen Ayodhya's cultural dignity on a global level. Metropolitan President Kamlesh Srivastava informed that designated places for the presence of saints have been identified, and responsibilities have been assigned to the workers.

Vedic Mahapujan Performed for the Flag

On Sunday, as part of the main rituals for the flag-hoisting ceremony, the sacred flag to be unfurled at the spire of the Ram Temple underwent a grand Vedic worship (Mahapujan). This flag is considered not just a symbol, but an emblem of Indian culture, Sanatan tradition, and the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. The worship process took place around a large Yagya Kunda (sacrificial fire pit), where acharyas (scholars/priests) offered oblations with Vishnu Sahasranama, Ganesha Atharvashirsha, and various Vedic mantras. The flames rising from the sacrificial fire and the echo of the mantras filled the atmosphere with purity and divinity.

The flag was consecrated with Panchagavya, Gangajal (water from the Ganges), flower water, and fragrant substances. Following this, sandalwood, akshat (unbroken rice), and mangal-jal (auspicious water) were offered, and the flag was placed on an adorned seat amidst the chanting of 'Ram Naam'. The entire complex resonated with the sound of conch shells and drums, and devotees were overwhelmed by this unique spiritual experience.

PM Modi to Hold Roadshow, 5 Thousand Women Prepared for Traditional Welcome

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the program by unfurling the saffron flag atop the Ram Temple's spire on November 25. A grand roadshow is also being organized upon his arrival in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive by helicopter at Saket Mahavidyalaya, from where he will proceed with a roadshow to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex.

The one-kilometer-long Rampath has been divided into eight zones, where approximately 5,000 women from various communities and self-help groups will traditionally welcome the Prime Minister. This welcome, featuring thali (plates), aarti (worship with lamps), flower garlands, and the namaskar (folded hands) gesture, will further highlight Ayodhya's cultural identity.
