New Projects in Rajasthan's Power Sector

PM Modi said that projects worth over 90 thousand crore rupees have been initiated in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. He stated that this demonstrates the country's rapid progress in the power sector, with every part of the nation participating in this pace of development.

The PM also added that every state is being prioritized, and new development opportunities in the power sector are spreading across the entire country. He believes that these projects are not just limited to increasing electricity supply, but have also made people's lives easier and led to the establishment of new industries.

Serious Allegations Against Congress

The Prime Minister leveled serious allegations against the previous Congress government in Rajasthan, stating that during its tenure, Rajasthan had become a hub for paper leaks. He said that Congress had succumbed the Jal Jeevan Mission to corruption, and atrocities against women were at their peak.

The PM alleged that during Congress rule, rapists received protection, and the level of crime increased. Illegal liquor trade and crime flourished significantly in areas like Banswara, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh.

PM Modi stated that when the BJP got the opportunity, law and order were strengthened, and development projects were rapidly advanced. Today, Rajasthan is moving forward on the path of rapid development under the leadership of the BJP government.

Electricity Availability in Rural Areas

The Prime Minister shared the efforts made in the power sector since 2014. He said that in 2014, his government resolved to provide electricity to every village in the country. 2.5 crore households were given free electricity connections.

PM Modi informed that wherever electricity lines reached, power supply was also ensured. This directly benefited people's lives and promoted new industries.

Targeting Congress's Policies

The Prime Minister said that the Congress government did not pay attention to the importance of electricity. In 2014, there were 2.5 crore households in India without electricity connections. Electricity poles had not even been installed in 18,000 villages across the country.

He informed that large cities experienced power cuts for hours, and even 4—5 hours of electricity in villages was considered a major achievement. The PM stated that for rapid development in the 21st century, the country must increase electricity production and remain a leader in clean energy.

Clean Energy and India's Future

PM Modi emphasized the importance of clean energy. He stated that only countries leading in clean energy will be the most successful in the future. Therefore, his government has transformed the clean energy campaign into a mass movement. This campaign is not limited to electricity generation but its benefits are being extended to every state and village across the entire country.

The PM also said that every part of the country is being prioritized, and Rajasthan is also progressing rapidly in this pace of development. Investments and new projects in the power sector will help make the country a leader in the 21st-century energy sector.
