Prashant Kishor's Claims: BJP to Replace Nitish Kumar if NDA Wins Bihar Elections

Prashant Kishor claims that if the NDA comes to power, the BJP will remove Nitish Kumar and appoint its own Chief Minister. He also questioned Tejashwi Yadav's 'Kalam Yatra' and the education system.

Bihar Election: The political landscape in Bihar is heating up before the elections. The Election Commission team is stationed in the state, and an intensive revision campaign of the voter list has also begun. Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, made several significant claims in an interview with Aaj Tak. He not only targeted Tejashwi Yadav and Nitish Kumar but also stated that the BJP would remove Nitish Kumar from the post of Chief Minister upon gaining power.

Questions Raised on Voter List Revision

Prashant Kishor first raised questions about the voter list revision campaign being conducted by the Election Commission. He said that this kind of intensive revision drive is being conducted for the first time since 2003, just a few months before the elections. He cited the examples of Maharashtra and Haryana, where such revisions were carried out before the elections, and the opposition had accused them of irregularities.

Kishor believes that if this process is not conducted transparently, it will erode the trust of the general public. He appealed to the Election Commission to make the entire process public so that all political parties and voters can be assured that this step has been taken for fairness and improvement.

Sarcasm on Tejashwi Yadav's 'Kalam Yatra'

Prashant Kishor reacted sharply to the student parliament and 'Kalam Yatra' organized by Tejashwi Yadav in Patna. He said that Tejashwi Yadav should look at his family's 15 years of rule before talking about education reforms. He alleged that the education system of Bihar suffered the most damage from 1990 to 2005, during which the RJD government was in power.

Prashant Kishor also questioned what Tejashwi Yadav did to improve education when he himself was the Deputy CM for three years, and the education ministry was with his alliance. He called the distribution of pens a mere symbolic step and said that if real change is to be brought about, education, employment, and knowledge should be distributed.

Clear Comments on the Word 'Jungle Raj'

Prashant Kishor also shared his views on Tejashwi Yadav's repeated use of the term 'Jungle Raj.' He said that it is not just a political allegation, but the conditions of that time were called 'Jungle Raj' by the High Court judges themselves. He reminded that until the end of the 90s, crimes like murder, kidnapping, and extortion were rampant in Bihar. In such a situation, if Tejashwi calls that time good governance, then the public will have to decide in which direction they want to take Bihar.

Serious Comments on Nitish Kumar

Prashant Kishor gave his blunt opinion on the role and capacity of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that now Nitish Kumar's mental and physical condition is not fit to remain the Chief Minister. He sarcastically said that a person who even forgets the Prime Minister's name on stage, how can he lead a complex state like Bihar?

Prashant Kishor claims that not only the public but also BJP leaders Amit Shah and Narendra Modi are aware of this. But due to political compulsion, the BJP is contesting the elections with him. He says that even if the NDA accidentally comes to power, the BJP will remove Nitish Kumar and appoint its own Chief Minister.
