Prayagraj Police Crack Down on Ateek Ahmed's Relatives Over Illegal Land Development

Authorities in Prayagraj are tightening their grip on the network associated with mafia figure Ateek Ahmed. In a recent development, the police have taken significant action against Ateek’s brother-in-law, Imran JE, and his brother, Zeeshan, also known as Jaanu. Both men are facing charges of illegal land development and fraud, with two separate FIRs registered against them.

The case revolves around a plot of land in the Bakshi Moira area of the city, which had already been sealed by the administration. Despite this, allegations surfaced that illegal land development and sales were occurring on the property. When a revenue department team conducted a spot inspection, the full extent of the illegal activity was revealed.

According to police sources, the inspection led by ACP Rajkumar मीणा found the plotted development to be entirely unlawful. Following the discovery of irregularities in the investigation, the police have initiated strict action against the two brothers, filing cases against them under serious charges.

They are accused of offenses including illegal occupation of government land, illegal plotting, and forgery. This action is being viewed as part of a broader campaign to dismantle Ateek Ahmed’s illicit empire.

It’s worth noting that even after Ateek Ahmed’s death, his relatives and associates remain active, but the administration is systematically taking action against them, working towards dismantling the entire network. Police are currently investigating other individuals connected to this case as well.

FIR Registered on Complaint of a Record Keeper

Police in Prayagraj have once again targeted close relatives of mafia figure Ateek Ahmed. This time, Imran JE, Ateek’s brother-in-law, and his brother, Zeeshan, also known as Jaanu, are in the crosshairs. Both are accused of constructing on illegally sealed land. The police have registered two separate FIRs against them at the Kareli police station in connection with the matter.

According to information, this case is linked to the government land in the Bakshi Moira area that was previously sealed. Unpermitted plotting and construction took place on the land. Following an inspection led by ACP Rajkumar मीणा, a land survey was conducted to verify the construction, confirming the illegal development.

The first FIR was registered on the complaint of a record keeper, explicitly stating that in 2021, Imran and Zeeshan had erected permanent structures on the seized land. The second FIR was filed by Inspector Rajesh Maurya himself, as the complainant, at the Kareli police station, alleging illegal occupation of government land and subsequent construction.

The administration is demonstrating a firm stance on this matter. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Maand has issued letters to all sub-divisional magistrates, instructing them to prepare reports on any illegal encroachments on government land within their respective jurisdictions. This includes prioritizing urban sealing, नजूल (unclaimed land), and temporary government land.

The administration has clearly stated that those involved in illegal occupation of government properties will not be spared, and a large-scale operation will be conducted soon. This action is considered part of the administrative campaign against Ateek Ahmed’s network.
