How did the accident happen?
Rajvir Jawanda was traveling on his bike near Sector-30 T-Point on the Pinjore-Nalagarh Road. He was coming from Baddi to Pinjore when suddenly, a bullfight broke out on the road. This caused his BMW bike to lose control, and Rajvir fell onto the highway. The accident resulted in severe head and spinal injuries. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where his life depended on a ventilator and advanced life support system for 11 days. However, despite all efforts, Rajvir Jawanda passed away.
As the news of Rajvir Jawanda's demise spread in his ancestral village of Pauna, Ludhiana, and the surrounding areas, a wave of prayers and ardaas (supplications) began. Villagers were performing Akhand Path (continuous reading of Guru Granth Sahib) and ardaas at the Gurudwara Sahib for his health and well-being. Rajvir's mother, Paramjit Kaur, had previously served as the village Sarpanch. His father, Karam Singh, was an ASI in the Punjab Police. Rajvir's grandfather and father had already passed away. Rajvir lived with his wife Ashwinder Kaur, daughter Hemant Kaur, and son Dilawar Singh.
Education and Film Career
Rajvir Jawanda showed his singing talent during Doordarshan shootings in his childhood. He completed his education from Jagraon and then pursued an MA in Theatre and Television from Punjabi University, Patiala. Rajvir began working as a Constable in the Punjab Police in 2011 but left the job in 2019 to further his singing career.
Rajvir Jawanda entered the music industry in 2014 with his debut album 'Munda Like Me'. In 2016, 'Kali Jawande Di' brought him recognition. Following this, he delivered several superhit songs like 'Mukabla', 'Kangani', 'Patiala Shahi Pag', 'Kesari Jhande', 'Landlord', and 'Surname'. Rajvir made his acting debut in 2018 with the Punjabi film 'Subedar Joginder Singh'. He subsequently acted in films such as 'Kaka Ji', 'Jind Jaan', 'Mindo Taseeldarni', and 'Sikander 2'.
