As part of organizational changes in Rajasthan Congress, new district presidents will be appointed in 50 districts. Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot will play a crucial role in Rahul Gandhi's 'Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan' (Organization Building Campaign), and an important meeting will also be held in Delhi.
Jaipur: Organizational changes are soon to take place in Rajasthan Congress. Under Rahul Gandhi's dream project 'Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan', preparations for the appointment of new district presidents in 50 districts of the state are almost complete. According to party sources, over 3000 applications have been received for this process.
Recently, the central leadership of the Congress sent 30 observers to Rajasthan. They visited every district, met with party workers, and prepared reports. These reports suggested the names of eligible, active, and organizationally b workers, which have now been sent to the high command for a final decision.
Important Congress Meeting in Delhi
The 'Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan' is being monitored by Congress General Secretary (Organization) K.C. Venugopal. All observers have submitted their reports to him. An important meeting, chaired by Venugopal, is set to take place tomorrow in Delhi to deliberate on these reports.
According to sources, the meeting will be attended by State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Juli, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, and General Secretary Sachin Pilot. After taking individual opinions from all senior leaders, the final list of new district presidents will be prepared.
Contribution of Senior Leaders and Fair Process
This time, personal recommendations from senior leaders will not be prioritized in the appointment of district presidents. The party states that this process will be entirely report-based and impartial. The observers' reports will be the main basis, to ensure equal opportunities within the organization and proper recognition of workers' capabilities.
Officials believe that this process will boost positive energy and activity among party workers. This will strengthen the party's organization and aid in upcoming electoral strategies.
Gehlot-Pilot's Contribution to Congress Organization
The roles of both former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot are considered crucial in this process. Their opinions and suggestions will be included in the final list during the meeting.
Experts suggest that this organizational change could prove to be a milestone for Rajasthan Congress. This step is significant in implementing Rahul Gandhi's 'Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan' at the grassroots level.
