Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari approved 5 to 10 crore rupees for the repair of damaged roads in every assembly constituency before Diwali. Roads that deteriorated after the monsoon will be new and safe by Diwali.

Jaipur: Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister and PWD Minister Diya Kumari has given good news to the people of the state before Diwali. An amount of 5 to 10 crore rupees has been sanctioned for the repair of roads damaged by monsoon rains in every assembly constituency. Additionally, new road projects were inaugurated in Jodhpur, which will strengthen the state's road transport system.

A Major Step Towards Repairing Damaged Roads

During the monsoon, the condition of roads across the state had deteriorated. Diya Kumari stated that the repair of all damaged roads would be ensured by Diwali. Strict monitoring will be maintained on repair work, and responsible contractors will be held accountable.

The Deputy Chief Minister also mentioned that the quality of road construction was not satisfactory during the previous government's tenure. This time, quality will be prioritized in the construction and repair of new roads. The aim is not only to reduce road accidents but also to provide safe and convenient transportation to the public.

5-10 Crore Rupees for Road Repair in Every Assembly Constituency

The state government has approved 5 to 10 crore rupees for road repairs in each assembly constituency. With this amount, damaged roads in localities and streets will be fixed by Diwali. Officials and contractors have been instructed to complete the work on time and with quality.

Due to heavy rains in many parts of the state, roads have been severely damaged. People were facing challenges in their daily lives because of this. Now, under this new scheme, roads will not only be repaired but traffic will also become smooth and safe.

Foundation Stone Laid for New Road Projects in Jodhpur

Diya Kumari laid the foundation stone for roads to be constructed at a cost of 104 crore rupees in Luni Tehsil of Jodhpur. This includes the construction of major roads such as Boranada-Salawas, Basni Sir-Dhundhara-District Border, and Gudha-Bhandukalan via Mogra-Salawas-Nandwan-Hirakheda.

On this occasion, Parliamentary Affairs and Justice Minister Jogaram Patel, MLAs Atul Bhansali, Arun Chaudhary, Hamir Singh Bhayal, Jaswant Singh Vishnoi, Tribhuvan Singh Bhati, and many others were present. This initiative will improve traffic flow in Jodhpur and also promote regional development.

Strictness in Quality and Monitoring of Road Construction

Diya Kumari stated that this time, special attention would be given to quality in road construction and repair. Contractors' accountability will be fixed, and work monitoring will be done regularly. This will not only enhance road safety but also strengthen public trust.

This government initiative will not only help make roads safe and smooth by Diwali but will also strengthen the state's road transport system on a long-term basis. The public will now have access to both better roads and safer travel.
