Four-Point Suggestion to Resolve Border Dispute

To resolve the ongoing tensions on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China, Rajnath Singh presented a four-point formula. He suggested that:

  1. The Disengagement process should be fully followed.
The troop withdrawal process should be completed in the areas of tension so that the possibility of conflict is eliminated.
  2. Efforts to reduce tension on the border should continue.
Both countries must work together to ensure peace on the border and avoid any provocative actions.
  3. The goal of demarcation and delimitation of borders should be completed rapidly.
The process should be expedited at technical and political levels to resolve the border dispute.
  4. The existing SR level mechanism should be used effectively.
The process of dialogue and resolution at the level of Special Representatives should be reactivated to improve the ground situation.

Possibility of Restarting the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
