Ravi Shankar Prasad Slams Rahul Gandhi's 'Hydrogen Bomb' Remark, Accuses Congress of Undermining Voting Rights

Ravi Shankar Prasad attacked Rahul Gandhi's hydrogen bomb statement in the Bihar elections. He said that Rahul is insulting the people's right to vote. There are differences in the opposition, and the public will now respond with their votes.

New Delhi: BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad took a b stance on Rahul Gandhi's statement of dropping a hydrogen bomb during the Bihar Assembly elections. He said at a press conference that many types of "antennas" have to be opened to understand Rahul Gandhi. He questioned why atom bombs and hydrogen bombs were mentioned in the electoral context. Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi's statement is not only against the dignity of the opposition leader's post but also creates confusion among the public.

Targeting Tejashwi and the Opposition as well

Ravi Shankar Prasad also taunted the internal affairs of the opposition in Bihar, saying that Tejashwi Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav have been left behind with Rahul Gandhi. He questioned whether differences within the opposition have increased and if Tejashwi Yadav has now become the number two player. He also stated that for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the opposition campaigned by accusing the BJP of changing the constitution, but the public understood this, and the election results in various states were contrary.

Questioning the Election Commission

Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi is systematically insulting the people's right to vote. He explained that without EVMs, booth capturing used to happen in elections, but now this process has ended. The opposition is opposing EVMs and SIR because they can no longer do booth capturing, and they want infiltrators to vote.

Three questions raised to Rahul Gandhi

The BJP leader also raised three important questions to Rahul Gandhi. First, despite the death of 21 lakh people, should their names remain on the voter list? Second, 7 lakh people are registered at two different addresses; should their names be on the list? Third, 35 lakh people do not live at their registered addresses; should their names still be on the list? Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Election Commission has clearly stated that objections should be registered through affidavits, but Rahul Gandhi is avoiding this.

Habits of the Opposition revealed

Ravi Shankar Prasad said that it has been Rahul Gandhi's habit to always make accusations. From Rafale, calling the Prime Minister 'Chowkidar Chor Hai' to questioning the bravery of the army, it is normal for him. He said that Rahul Gandhi is continuously attacking constitutional institutions, and the public will now respond to him through their votes.

The BJP leader said that public decency is necessary in a democracy. He questioned whether Rahul Gandhi had ever condemned the abuses received by the Prime Minister's mother.
