RJD MP Declares Tejashwi Yadav as Unopposed CM Candidate for Bihar

RJD MP Sanjay Yadav stated that Tejashwi Yadav is the sole candidate for the CM post in Bihar. The public's sentiment during the Bihar Adhikar Yatra is signaling a change.

Bihar Politics: A significant statement regarding the Chief Minister's post has once again emerged from within Bihar's RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal). RJD MP Sanjay Yadav has unequivocally stated that Tejashwi Yadav is the sole face for the Chief Minister's position within the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance). Yadav asserted that irrespective of the Congress party's agreement, the people of Bihar have accepted Tejashwi Yadav. According to him, Tejashwi can no longer step back as the public has wholeheartedly embraced him.

Sanjay Yadav informed that discussions on seat-sharing within the Mahagathbandhan are progressing positively. However, he clarified that no public statements would be made on this matter. He opined that this issue is being resolved internally within the Mahagathbandhan, while the opposition alliance, NDA, is deliberating on seat-sharing in a different direction.

Bihar Adhikar Yatra: Direct Dialogue with the Public

Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, commenced the Bihar Adhikar Yatra (Bihar Rights March) on Tuesday from Dhanrua and Punpun. The objective of the yatra was to engage in direct dialogue with the public and highlight the failures of the current government. Tejashwi urged the party workers to bring about a change in the government and not to overlook issues of unemployment, inflation, and other social problems.

The yatra began from Nadwan Bazaar on the Patna-Gaya four-lane in Dhanrua, Sarwan Gumti, and Sakarpura More. Tejashwi assured the public that the RJD is committed to their well-being and resolving their issues will be a priority.

Stage Remained Vacant Amidst Opposition from Rekha Devi

During the yatra, at Sarwan Gumti, party workers protested against the current MLA, Rekha Devi. RJD workers lay down on the main road, chanting slogans of "Remove Rekha, Save Masaurhi." Due to the intense protest, Tejashwi Yadav could not alight from his vehicle, and the stage remained vacant. As planned, Tejashwi was supposed to address the public from the stage near Sarwan Gumti, but considering the workers' agitation, he did not descend there.

Opposition to Rekha Devi was observed in several areas including Nadwa, Sakarpura, and Damdichak. The protest gained further momentum with the participation of Dhanrua block's Deputy Head, Rajkishore Prasad. Senior RJD leaders Dhanni Yadav, Deputy Head Prem Kumar, District Council Member Chandan Yadav, Bablu Mishra, Pintu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, and Urmila Devi were present at the location.

Public's Message from Voter Adhikar Yatra

Sanjay Yadav stated that the public's sentiment during the Bihar Adhikar Yatra indicates a coming change. He acknowledged that the NDA might not be hearing this signal or is deliberately ignoring it. He believes the public is aware of their rights, and the RJD is propagating this message forward.

Sanjay added that the public's response to the Voter Adhikar Yatra demonstrates the b connect Tejashwi Yadav has with the people. Through this yatra, the government and political parties will be able to better understand the issues and expectations of the public.

Seat Negotiations and the Mahagathbandhan's Stance

On the question of seat-sharing, Sanjay Yadav stated that negotiations are proceeding positively. He also reiterated that the decision regarding the Chief Minister's post within the Mahagathbandhan is solely in favor of Tejashwi Yadav. According to him, no other party in Bihar possesses a leader like Tejashwi for the Chief Ministership.

Sanjay clarified that there are no "ifs or buts" within the Mahagathbandhan. Tejashwi can no longer withdraw, and the public has accepted him. He further added that discussions are ongoing to resolve any disputes, and seat distribution will be carried out through a proper process.

Tejashwi's Focus on Government Failures

During the yatra, Tejashwi Yadav drew the public's attention to the failures of the current government. He stated that the incumbent government has faltered on multiple fronts. He prominently raised issues of unemployment, inflation, and social justice.

Tejashwi appealed to the party workers to go among the public, spread awareness about the government's shortcomings, and convey the message that change is necessary. He emphasized that development and the welfare of the people should be the primary objectives in Bihar.
