Bihar Politics: The Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) has suffered a major setback in the Khagaria district of Bihar. Several senior leaders and office bearers of the district have resigned from the party. The resignations were announced during a meeting held on Sunday at a marriage hall in the district headquarters. The meeting was presided over by the party's district vice-president, Shivji Paswan, and district secretary Umesh Paswan was also present.
Serious Allegations Against Party Leadership
The leaders who resigned alleged that workers in the party are neither receiving respect nor are their problems being heard. District Secretary Umesh Paswan said that the party's national president, Pashupati Kumar Paras, is only working within the confines of a single assembly constituency, Alauli. He also alleged that dedicated workers in the party have been sidelined, leading to growing internal discontent.
Key Leaders Who Resigned
Among the prominent leaders who left the RLJP are Shivji Paswan (District Vice-President), Harilal Paswan (District General Secretary), Umesh Paswan (District Secretary), and Gurudev Paswan (Mansi Block President). These leaders stated that the party's organizational structure has weakened, and communication with the leadership has broken down.
RLJP District President's Counterattack
On the other hand, RLJP District President Shivraj Yadav rejected these allegations, claiming that the party is completely united. He said that some people are making baseless statements for personal gain. He appealed to the workers not to fall for such misleading propaganda. Yadav said that the party has a b support base in the Khagaria district, and this will be evident in the upcoming assembly elections.
RLJP Organizational Meeting in Khagaria
Following the resignations, an important meeting of the RLJP was held on Sunday at the Yashraj Hotel in Khagaria. The meeting was presided over by District President Shivraj Yadav. A resolution was taken to strengthen the party up to the booth level. Leaders said that strategic planning has begun to ensure better results for the party in the upcoming assembly elections with the cooperation of the workers.

National General Secretary Sanjay Yadav, State Vice President Ratan Paswan, State General Secretary Muhammad Masoom, District Principal General Secretary Arvind Swarnkar, Zilla Parishad member Satyanarayan Paswan, and several other senior leaders and workers attended the meeting.
District President Addressed the Workers
Addressing the meeting, District President Shivraj Yadav said that the organization will be made sharper and more effective by coordinating with all new and old colleagues of the party. He reiterated that RLJP believes in the politics of development and that the public's trust remains with the party. Yadav also said that those who are trying to weaken the party will be answered by the public in the upcoming elections.
