RRB Announces CBT Exam Dates for Ministerial and Isolated Categories (September 10-12, 2025)

Railway Recruitment Board Announces Exam Dates for Ministerial and Isolated Categories CBT. The examination will be held from September 10-12, 2025. Admit cards will be issued 4 days before the exam and city slips 10 days before.

RRB: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the exam dates for the Ministerial and Isolated Categories recruitment examination. Candidates can now finalize their preparation according to the official schedule. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for this recruitment will be conducted between September 10 and 12, 2025.

Official Announcement of Exam Dates

RRB Chandigarh has released a notification on its official website rrbcdg.gov.in, providing information about the exam dates. All candidates associated with this recruitment can now plan their revision keeping these dates in mind. The examination will be held at designated examination centers across the country.

Procedure for Issuing Admit Card and Exam City Slip

As per the notification, the Exam City Slip will be released 10 days before the examination. It will contain information about the candidate's exam city and center.

The Admit Card (E-Call Letter) will be available for download 4 days before the exam date. Candidates are advised to regularly log in to the official website to check for notifications and download links.

Information on Exam Pattern

The CBT exam conducted for this recruitment will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

  • 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • There will be a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer.

The subject-wise distribution of questions will be as follows:

  • Personal Ability: 50 questions
  • General Awareness: 15 questions
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 15 questions
  • Mathematics: 10 questions
  • General Science: 10 questions

A total of 90 minutes will be allotted to solve the question paper. PwBD category candidates will be given 100 minutes.

Preparation Tips for Candidates

  • It is essential to prepare a Revision Strategy keeping the exam date in mind.
  • Pay special attention to the Personal Ability section with 50 questions, as it covers half of the total marks.
  • Get into the habit of solving previous years' RRB CBT Exam Papers.
  • Practice time management so that all questions can be solved in 90 minutes.
  • Keeping negative marking in mind, answer only those questions in which you are sure.
