New Delhi: As part of organizational changes within the Congress party, senior leader Sandeep Dixit has been appointed as the President of Creative Congress. The appointment is effective immediately. Creative Congress, previously known as the Outreach Cell, will now work with a new form and expanded responsibilities to strengthen the party's policy and ideological foundation.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) confirmed the appointment in a statement issued by General Secretary K.C. Venugopal. The Congress President has taken this step with the aim of enhancing effective communication between the party and society and determining a new strategic direction.
Responsibilities of Sandeep Dixit
The objective of Creative Congress is to establish direct communication with various sections of society, civil society groups, social workers, experts, academics, and issue-based organizations. Under this, Sandeep Dixit will have to ensure that ground realities and diverse perspectives reach the party's policies and programs.
