Sonam and Raj's Elaborate Plot to Murder Raja Raghuvanshi Unveiled

Sonam and Raj's Shocking Plot in the Murder of Raja Raghuvanshi Unveiled. Their escape involved disguises, fabricated identities, and a desperate attempt to create a false narrative of death.

Sonam Case: The much-publicized murder of Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya continues to reveal new details. As the police investigation progresses, the cunning plan of Sonam and her lover, Raj Kushwaha, is becoming increasingly clear. This was not just a murder; it was a meticulously planned conspiracy involving identity theft, the presentation of a false corpse, and multiple failed assassination attempts.

A Conspiracy That Surpasses Fiction

According to the police, Sonam and Raj devised a complete script to protect themselves before and after Raja's murder. From their escape from Shillong disguised in burqas to their plan to murder another woman and present her body as Sonam's, every step was pre-planned. The plot was so intricate that it initially deceived the police.

Engagement and Wedding Videos on Social Media

Videos of Raja and Sonam's engagement and wedding have surfaced on social media. In the videos, Sonam appears happy, placing a ring on Raja's finger, participating in wedding ceremonies, and smilingly answering the anchor's questions. However, there is no hint of the horrific plan she was harboring.

Communicating Under the Alias 'Sanjay Verma'

The investigation revealed that Sonam made over 112 calls to a person named Sanjay Verma in March. Police investigation revealed that the number belonged not to Sanjay, but to Raj Kushwaha. This means Raj used a false identity to communicate with Sonam and plan the entire conspiracy. The police are now investigating the source of this number and whether it was used in other fraudulent activities.

Three Failed Assassination Attempts Before the Murder

Shillong SP Vivek Siem revealed that Raja's murder was not spontaneous. There were at least three previous attempts on his life. Plans to murder him were made in Guwahati, Nongriat, and near Umiam Lake (Barapani), but these attempts failed for various reasons. Finally, on May 23rd, in Sohra, Sonam, Raj, and their associates Vishal, Akash, and Anand murdered Raja.

Attempt to Prove Herself 'Dead' Using a False Corpse

The police investigation also uncovered Sonam's plot to make herself disappear permanently. She planned to murder another woman and present her body as her own. However, this plan failed. The sheer audacity of this plan shocked even the police.

Escaped in a Burqa, Hid in Indore

After Raja's murder, Sonam fled Shillong disguised in a burqa. She traveled through Assam and West Bengal, then through Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, eventually reaching Indore. Raj rented a flat in Indore where they hid for some time. Sonam later went to Ghazipur and surrendered herself to the authorities.
