SSC GD Result 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the results for the General Duty (GD) Constable recruitment exam 2025 soon. Millions of candidates who appeared for the written exam are eagerly awaiting the results. The results will be available as a PDF on ssc.gov.in, listing the roll numbers of successful candidates.
Written Exam Held in February 2025
The SSC conducted the GD Constable exam from February 4th to February 25th, 2025. Over 5.2 million candidates from across the country participated in the exam. Candidates who successfully clear the written exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

Physical Test Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who clear the written exam will have to participate in the PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PST (Physical Standard Test). The physical test eligibility criteria are as follows:
For Male Candidates:
- 5-kilometer run to be completed in 24 minutes.
- 1.6-kilometer run to be completed in 7 minutes.
For Female Candidates:
- 1.6-kilometer run to be completed in 8.5 minutes.
- 800-meter run to be completed in 5 minutes.
Physical Standard Test (PST) Standards
For Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 170 cm
- Chest: Minimum 76 cm (un-expanded) and 81 cm (expanded)
For Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 157 cm
- Relaxation for Reserved Categories
Relaxation in height and chest measurements will be provided to candidates belonging to the ST category and those from reserved areas. The minimum height for ST male candidates is 162.5 cm and 150 cm for female candidates.
Recruitment Details: Number of Vacancies
Through this recruitment process, the SSC will fill a total of 53,690 positions in various security forces. These appointments will be made in Central Armed Police Forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, and SSF.
Application Process and Exam Information
The application process for the SSC GD Constable recruitment was held between September 5th and October 14th, 2024. The written exam was conducted in February 2025. Candidates are now awaiting the results, after which the physical test process will begin.
What Happens After PET/PST?
Candidates who successfully clear the physical test will be called for a medical examination and document verification. The final merit list will be prepared based on the successful completion of all these stages.
