A drone was seen flying at night in a village in **Sultanpur**, causing significant fear among the local residents. The police have urged people not to believe in rumors and to immediately report any suspicious activity.
Key highlights of the incident are as follows:
In several villages in the Jaisinghpur area — such as Semri, Mahmudpur, Salahpur, Hariharpur, Lahauta, Maraucha, Sisaura, Amdeva, and Chorma — a drone was seen flying in the dark with bright lights.
On the night of September 24, a drone was spotted over Sumerpur-Sankadiya village. Villagers filmed it and pursued it, but the drone headed towards waterlogged fields.
One night, the drone's battery ran out, and it fell uncontrollably onto the roof of Sunil Jaiswal's house. As the news spread in the morning, a crowd gathered there.
The Semri police outpost seized the drone, taking legal action. After investigation, it was discovered that it was a regular toy drone without a camera.
Police Outpost In-charge Avinash Chandra stated that some mischievous elements might have flown the drone with the intention of spreading rumors. He requested the villagers to maintain peace and report any suspicious activity to the police.
