Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated in Belgrade that Israel has accepted the plan, and now it remains to be seen what stance Hamas will take. Sa'ar said, "We want to see our hostages return safely after two years and a Gaza that is free of radicalism and weapons. Such a Gaza would pose no threat to Israel and its citizens."
Russia Also Expresses Hope
Russia has also adopted a positive stance regarding Trump's plan. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia welcomes this initiative and hopes that the plan will be implemented and help establish lasting peace in the Middle East.
