Who will attend the dinner
Some of the world's leading tech CEOs and founders will be present at this dinner party, held in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday night. Among them are Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Why Elon Musk did not receive an invitation
The rift between Elon Musk and Trump surfaced earlier this year. The two had a disagreement regarding Trump's "One Big, Beautiful Bill." Musk expressed his opinion, stating that the bill could be either big or beautiful, but not both simultaneously.
Following this, Musk resigned from his Chief position at DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency). Trump had established DOGE to streamline American government bureaucracy and referred to it as the Manhattan Project. He stated that significant changes would be implemented at the federal level through DOGE by July 4, 2026.
After Musk's resignation, Trump and Musk went their separate ways, which led to Musk not being invited to the White House dinner.
DOGE Department and Trump's Plan
DOGE, or the Department of Government Efficiency, was a special department established by Trump. Its aim was to improve and bring efficiency to the American government machinery. Trump called it the Manhattan Project and set a goal to reform federal bureaucracy by 2026.
Elon Musk was appointed to lead this department, with Vivek Ramaswamy serving as the second-in-command. However, Ramaswamy also resigned from his position later. During the establishment of DOGE, it was anticipated that technological innovation and private sector involvement would make the government system more effective.
