UAE Golden Visa: Rayad Group in the UAE has apologized and taken full responsibility for disseminating false information regarding the UAE Golden Visa, which falsely claimed it could be obtained for ₹23 lakh.
The dream of settling in Dubai cheaply and obtaining a lifetime Golden Visa for just ₹23 lakh has turned out to be completely false. The company behind this claim, Rayad Group, is now coming forward to apologize and take responsibility for the entire matter. This news had created quite a stir on social media and websites. However, it is now clear that neither did such an offer come from the UAE government, nor was there any official confirmation of it.
Rayad Group Admits Mistake, Says- Misunderstanding Occurred
Rayad Group, based in Dubai, issued an official statement on Wednesday stating that the information they had provided regarding the UAE Golden Visa was inaccurate and had been wrongly publicized. The company clarified that they are not part of any such government scheme, nor did they have any kind of approval. The group acknowledged that their claims had misled the public and also apologized for it.
Claim was that a lifetime Golden Visa would be given for ₹23 lakh
For the past few days, there was discussion that Indian citizens could obtain a lifetime UAE Golden Visa by depositing a lump sum of 1 lakh AED, approximately ₹23.30 lakh, through Rayad Group. This visa did not require investment in property, a business license, or employment. It was claimed that this was a nomination-based scheme, in which some selected individuals were being granted Golden Visas with government approval.
Rayad Group has closed its 'Visa Advisory' service
Rayad Group also stated in its statement that they are now completely closing the private advisory services (Advisory Services) being offered regarding the UAE Golden Visa. The company said that they took this decision because a misunderstanding had caused confusion among the people and also affected their reputation. They also reiterated that currently, there is no such scheme being run by the government in which a citizen can directly settle in the UAE by paying a lump sum.
The claim was to provide a visa without investment and without a license
In the reports that had come before this controversy, it was being said that now the UAE has implemented a new rule in which there is no need to invest in property or business. By just paying ₹23 lakh, anyone can settle in Dubai for life. The special thing was that it was being promoted as a valid process by Rayad Group, and it was claimed that the government had assigned them the right to process it.
What are the real rules of the visa in Dubai
The reality is that the UAE government has set clear guidelines for obtaining a Golden Visa for Dubai. To settle there, a person usually has to invest in property, which should be worth at least 2 million AED, or approximately ₹4.66 crore. In addition, this visa is given to professionals, scientists, investors, and students working in some special fields only under special circumstances.
Strict vigilance of the UAE government
The UAE government is very strict against any such misleading information. Even before this, many such cases have come to light where private companies have trapped people by making false claims. Now, the ICP and other government institutions are working together to ensure that the visa process is conducted only through valid means and that no one is misled.
Indians were especially targeted
The Rayad Group's scheme had especially targeted Indian citizens. It was said that this is a golden opportunity for people migrating to Dubai from India. A large number of Indian social media users had also shared this news. But now that the whole truth has come out, disappointment is also being seen among such people.
