New Delhi: If you appeared for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, your wait is now over. UPSC has declared the result of the 2025 Geo-Scientist Mains exam. Candidates who have qualified in this exam will now be called for interview and personality test.
The result has been released on the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in, from where candidates can download the PDF containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates.
Want to Check the Result? Here's the Easiest Way
The process to check the result is straightforward. Follow these steps and the result is in front of you:
- First, go to upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, you will find a link "Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2025 Result", click on it.
- A PDF will open, containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates.
- Find your roll number in it, and if you wish, take a printout for future reference.
Please note that it will only contain roll numbers, not names. So, check your number carefully.
Need to Fill the DAF? Remember the Date
Now that you have cleared the Mains, the next step is filling the DAF form.
UPSC has announced that the window to fill the DAF (Detailed Application Form) will be open from July 29th to August 12th, 2025, until 6 PM.
In this form, you will have to provide your educational qualifications, experience, documents, and other necessary information. Therefore, keep everything ready to avoid any last-minute errors.
What is Required in the Interview?
The interview and personality test are your next challenge. UPSC will soon provide information regarding the date, time, and venue for the interview.
On the day of the interview, be sure to bring these things with you:
- Original documents of your educational qualifications
- Identity proof (ID Proof)
- caste/PH/NCL certificate (if applicable)
- Printed DAF form
In the interview, you may be asked questions related to current affairs, technical topics, personality-related questions, and some general social topics. So, start preparing smartly.
When Will the Final Result and Marksheet be Available?
UPSC says that the mark sheets of all candidates will be available on the website within 15 days after the declaration of the final result following the interview.
These mark sheets will be available on the website for 30 days. You will be able to view it by logging in with your registration number and password.
