US authorities located a missing pilot in southern Iran using the ‘Ghost Murmur’ system, which detects human heart signals from up to 40 miles away, enabling a successful rescue operation.
According to reports, a US F-15 fighter jet was shot down in southern Iran, after which the pilot, identified as Dude 44 Bravo, went missing. The pilot concealed himself within mountainous crevices to evade Iranian forces that were actively searching for him and had announced a reward.
US agencies, including the CIA and the military, conducted a two-day operation to locate the pilot in hostile terrain where conventional search methods were ineffective.
The operation relied on the ‘Ghost Murmur’ system, which is capable of detecting subtle electromagnetic signals generated by the human heartbeat. These signals are typically undetectable using standard equipment.

The system uses quantum magnetometry and artificial intelligence to isolate an individual’s heartbeat even in crowded or noisy environments. It is particularly effective in areas with low electromagnetic interference.
Media reports stated that the system identified the pilot’s precise location from approximately 40 miles away. The detection capability allowed US forces to pinpoint the pilot’s position in mountainous terrain.
The rescue mission involved hundreds of US personnel and encountered operational challenges, including aircraft becoming stranded and subsequently destroyed. The operation concluded with the successful recovery of the pilot, with all US personnel returning safely.
