He showcased his brilliance by scoring a century in just 35 balls, proving his explosive entry onto the cricket scene. After a tremendous performance in the IPL, Vaibhav also made waves on English soil. Upon his return to India, he received a call from the BCCI.

BCCI's Master Plan

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has attracted everyone's attention with his batting at a young age. Scoring a century off 35 balls at the age of 14 is considered a significant achievement for any young player. This explosive batting has opened new doors of hope for him in the cricket world. His excellent performance in the IPL and impressive form on the England tour have convinced the BCCI to prepare him for the senior team.

The BCCI has prepared a special training program for Vaibhav, which will focus on technical drills as well as various match situations. His childhood coach, Manish Ojha, explains that the BCCI is gradually preparing young players for the senior team as veteran players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma may retire soon.

"Senior players are gradually moving towards retirement, and it is essential to fully prepare the next generation to fill that void," said Manish Ojha. "Vaibhav is an important part of this process. We are preparing each player according to the demands of international cricket."

Speculation Intensifies About Virat-Rohit's Retirement, Vaibhav Gets a Chance

There is discussion in the cricket world that the Australia tour could be Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's last series in international cricket. A BCCI source told PTI that the board's current focus is on the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup next year. In such a situation, it has become necessary to prepare young players so that the team's continuity is maintained.

After a week of training in Bengaluru, Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be included in the India Under-19 camp, where his next assignment will be. According to coach Manish Ojha, Vaibhav has the ability to bat aggressively from the very first ball, which is very important in T20 and ODI cricket. He said,

"Vaibhav's aggression was clearly visible in the IPL, Under-19, and Vijay Hazare Trophy, but he still needs to increase his consistency in the longer format. Our goal is for him to perform effectively in 7-8 out of 10 innings."

Vaibhav's strength can make him a big weapon for Team India in the future. Developing the ability to play long innings will be the next big step in his career.
