Raja Raghuwanshi Murder Case: Interrogation of the arrested accused in the Raja Raghuwanshi murder case has revealed shocking details. Investigations have revealed that his wife, Sonam Raghuwanshi, plotted the murder. According to the police, Sonam devised not one, but two plans. If her accomplices failed to execute the murder, she planned to push her husband into a gorge under the guise of taking a selfie.
All Four Accused Confessed to the Murder During Interrogation
The four individuals arrested in a joint operation by Indore and Shillong police confessed to Raja's murder during interrogation. They stated that after the murder, the body was dumped into a gorge in Shillong. The Indore Crime Branch has confirmed this.
The Conspiracy Began Before the Wedding
ACP Poonamchand Yadav stated that the murder plot was hatched even before Raja and Sonam's wedding. Led by mastermind Raj Kushwaha, all the accused had already reached Shillong. There, they finalized the murder plan.
The Crime Was Committed During Their Honeymoon Trip
Raja and Sonam were in Shillong for their honeymoon when this horrific plot was executed. Accused Vishal initiated the attack, striking Raja first. Following this, the other accused jointly murdered Raja.
Blood-stained Clothes Recovered; Forensic Investigation Underway
Police seized some clothes from Vishal's house which showed traces of blood. Currently, investigations are underway to determine whose blood it is. A forensic report is awaited.
Suspicion of Raj Kushwaha's Involvement in Hawala Transactions
Another shocking fact emerged during the interrogation. Information about the serial numbers of several ₹10 notes was found on the mobile phone of accused Raj Kushwaha, leading to suspicions of his involvement in hawala transactions. Police are investigating this angle as well.
Sonam Raghuwanshi is believed to have played the most crucial role in the entire case. She was the mastermind of the conspiracy and had planned for every eventuality. If her accomplices had failed, she was going to push Raja into a gorge while taking a selfie.
Police Team to Reach Shillong via Delhi
The Meghalaya police have already left for Delhi with the accused. From there, they will be taken to Shillong via Guwahati for further investigation. When asked if Sonam had come to Indore after the murder, ACP Poonamchand Yadav stated that there is no confirmation yet. If any input is received from the Shillong police, Indore police will take immediate action.
