Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in a program organized in Aligarh on the occasion of the fourth death anniversary of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh and the third Hindu Gaurav Diwas. During this event, he paid humble tribute to the former CM, recalling his memories.
Targeted the Opposition
On this occasion, CM Yogi also heavily criticized the opposition. He stated that those who are trying to divide society in the name of PDA today are the same people who were responsible for goons and mafia during previous governments. During their rule, chaos and riots were commonplace in the state.
Disruptions to Festivals and Social Instability
Yogi said that festivals and celebrations were also affected during that time. Incidents such as restrictions on Kanwar Yatra, disruptions in Vijay Dashami and Durga Puja rituals, and obstacles in Holi and Diwali programs were common. Under the leadership of the opposition, a policy of appeasement was in place, while the current government is working on the policy of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (Together with all, Development for all).
Ram Temple Construction: An Example of Glory
The Chief Minister said that the grand construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to revive India's heritage and cultural glory is a unique example. This temple is not only a symbol of spiritual heritage but also a mirror of independent India's pride and culture.
Execution of Article 370 and Control over Terrorism
CM Yogi also mentioned his decision to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that this decision was taken to control terrorism and ensure regional stability. He emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party's double-engine government has done what it said it would do. This is a clear example for independent India and 140 crore citizens.
Yogi Adityanath said that the government's goal is not only governance and administration. It is also focused on the development of every section of society and the protection of religious and cultural activities. He clarified that now no disruption will be allowed in the festivals and celebrations of any religion or society.
