RRB Announces ALP CBT 2 Result 2025: Merit List and Aptitude Test Details

RRB has announced the ALP CBT 2 Result for 2025. The merit list of selected candidates is available on the website. These candidates will now participate in the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).

RRB ALP CBT 2 Result 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the results of the Computer Based Test (CBT 2) conducted under the Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment examination (CEN-01/2024). This examination was held on May 2nd and 6th, 2025. Candidates who appeared for this exam can now check their results on the official RRB website, rrbcdg.gov.in.

The result has been released in PDF format, which includes the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Candidates who have qualified in the CBT 2 exam will now have to appear for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) in the next stage.

Computer Based Aptitude Test for Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates who have passed the CBT 2 exam will now have to take the aptitude test. This test will be computer-based and will be of 68 minutes duration. It will consist of a total of five tests, known as test batteries.

A key aspect of the aptitude test is that candidates must obtain a minimum T-score of 42 in each test. This rule applies equally to candidates of all categories. No relaxation will be given. Also, there will be no negative marking in this stage.

  • Click on the "Merit List of Shortlisted Candidates" link on the homepage.
  • The result will open in PDF format.
  • You can now search for your roll number in the list.

Category-wise Cut-off Also Released

Along with the results, RRB has also released the category-wise cut-off. This allows candidates to know the minimum marks required for selection according to their category. This also helps in future preparation.

Detailed Information of the Recruitment Process

Under this recruitment process, the Railway Recruitment Board will appoint candidates to a total of 18,799 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot. After the CBT 2 exam, four times the number of candidates for these posts have been shortlisted for the aptitude test. After the CBAT is conducted, the final merit list will be prepared, which will take into account the scores of both CBT 2 and the aptitude test.
