Stock Market Today Gift Nifty Falls 0.25% as Key Corporate Updates Remain in Focus

Stock Market Today: Gift Nifty traded 58.5 points lower at 23,341.50. Quarterly results and key updates from Persistent Systems, IRB Infrastructure, Allcargo Terminals, NATCO Pharma and other companies remain in focus.

The Indian stock market may witness a weak opening on Wednesday, with Gift Nifty indicating pressure in early trade. At around 7:15 am, Gift Nifty was trading at 23,341.50, down 58.5 points or 0.25%.

Crude oil prices are also being closely watched by the market. Crude oil prices remain below $90 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading at around $98.90 per barrel. According to market experts, recent consolidation in the Nifty may continue. The 23,115 to 23,650 range is considered important for the index. Meanwhile, several stocks could see sharp movements due to company-specific developments.

Annu Projects and Winsome Yarns are among the companies scheduled to announce their quarterly financial results today.

Persistent Systems has acquired 75.68 lakh equity shares of Nagarro SE through a voluntary public takeover offer. The acquisition represents approximately 61.15% of Nagarro SE's total share capital.

The board of IRB Infrastructure Developers has approved a plan to create value from the company's non-core assets. Under the plan, around 350 acres out of approximately 1,100 acres of land held by Aryan Infrastructure Investments Private Limited (AIIPL) in Tajé and Pimploli villages in Pune district will be developed in multiple phases.

Allcargo Terminals reported a total volume of 65,600 TEUs in August 2026. According to the company, the volume was 6% higher than in August last year and 5% higher than in July 2026.

The board of 360 ONE WAM has approved the appointment of Ashish Agarwal as the company's Chief Executive Officer with effect from February 15, 2027. He has also been designated as Key Managerial Personnel (KMP).

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the launch of 'Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels' in Nashik. The property will be the group's first hotel in Nashik.LG Electronics India expects double-digit sales growth during the upcoming festive season. Aditya Infotech's Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue has opened. The company has fixed the floor price at Rs 3,648.43 per share. Under the prescribed terms, a discount of up to 5% may be offered on the floor price.

Arvind SmartSpaces has reported bookings worth more than Rs 500 crore at its Bengaluru-based project. According to the company, the bookings were achieved within 30 days of the project's launch. The project was fully acquired in February 2026 and has an estimated topline potential of around Rs 860 crore.
