The Haryana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced new district presidents for all 27 districts, aiming to strengthen its organizational structure. Fifteen districts have received new presidents, while seven districts retain their previous leaders.
Chandigarh: The Haryana BJP (Haryana BJP) has undertaken organizational changes, appointing presidents for all 27 districts. This includes appointing new presidents for 15 districts and for the five newly formed districts for the first time. Seven districts will continue with their existing presidents. These changes consider the performance of outgoing district presidents in Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, and urban body elections. Some changes were made due to the age of certain district presidents, while others will be accommodated in the state committee. The party has also appointed four women to key positions among the 27 district presidents.
Over 800 Workers Applied
Announcing the changes, Haryana BJP's election officer, Dr. Archana Gupta, stated that over 800 party workers had applied for the district president positions. These appointments were finalized by Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli after receiving approval from the party's national president, J.P. Nadda. The BJP claims to have ensured balanced representation of women and various castes in this appointment process. Four of the 27 district presidents are women. Brahmin, OBC, Jat, Jat Sikh, DSC, and Punjabi communities have been given representation, while only one district president is from the Vaishya community.

To strengthen its organizational presence, Haryana BJP has recognized Hansi, Gohana, Ballabhgarh, Pataudi, and Dabwali as new districts, appointing district presidents for the first time in these areas. The BJP has retained the previous district presidents in Yamunanagar, Panipat, Jind, Rohtak, Rewari, Ambala, and Hansi. Other districts have been given new leadership.
