Attack on Swaminarayan Temple in California, Anti-India Slogans Painted on Walls. Hindu Organizations Condemn the Incident and Demand Strict Action.

US Hindu Temple: Incidents targeting Hindu temples in the United States are on the rise. This time, the Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Chino Hills, Southern California, has been attacked. Vandals painted anti-India slogans on the temple walls, causing outrage within the Hindu community.

Temple Management Confirms the Incident

BAPS Swaminarayan Temple management confirmed the incident, stating it is another instance of hate against the Hindu community. In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the temple management wrote—

"Another Hindu temple attacked in Chino Hills, but the community will stand b against hate. We will maintain peace and harmony."

The temple management further stated that the Hindu community will never allow such hatred to take root.

Police and Organizational Response

The Chino Hills Police Department has yet to release an official statement regarding the attack. However, the Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) condemned the incident, calling it a serious issue. In their statement, the organization said—

"Another Hindu temple has been targeted. Yet some still say Hinduphobia doesn't exist."

Growing Incidents Cause Community Concern

This is not the first time Hindu temples in the United States have been targeted. Previously, temples in California and other US states have been attacked. Hindu organizations claim that despite these incidents, there has been no concrete action from local authorities, leading to a growing sense of insecurity within the community.
