Under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme, 6.21 lakh young people applied, of whom 1.27 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for the first phase. 1.27 Lakh Candidates to Get Internship Opportunities

Internship Stipend of ₹5,000

Selected candidates under the PM Internship Scheme will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. ₹4,500 will be provided by the central government, while ₹500 will be contributed by the companies from their corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds. This stipend will continue for 10 to 12 months. In addition, selected candidates will also receive a one-time payment of ₹6,000. Insurance coverage will also be provided during the internship period.

Age Limit for Beneficiaries: The PM Internship Scheme is open to young people aged between 21 and 24. Selected candidates will get the opportunity to work at India's top 500 companies under the Indian government.
