BJP Working Committee Meeting: Preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar have gained momentum. All parties are busy sharpening their strategies for this major contest scheduled for October-November. In this series, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is holding a major working committee meeting today, July 2nd, at Gyan Bhawan in Patna, which is being seen as the party's electoral clarion call.
The most special thing is that the meeting will be inaugurated by Union Defence Minister and senior party leader Rajnath Singh. According to sources, Rajnath Singh will give the mantra of victory to the workers and leaders in this meeting and provide important guidance towards strengthening the organization at the ground level.
Meeting to start at 11 am, more than 900 leaders will be present
This meeting will start at 11 am and will continue until the evening. It will be attended by all the senior leaders of the state, MLAs, MPs, organization officials, district presidents, women's wing, youth wing, and about 900 leaders. Its scope has been kept so broad so that a clear message can be conveyed to every unit of the organization about how important the 2025 assembly elections are for the BJP.
A resolution on the projects, schemes, and development works received by Bihar in the last 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also be passed in the meeting. Along with this, a separate political resolution will also be kept regarding the Bihar Assembly Election 2025.
Special focus will be on booth empowerment
According to party sources, the biggest agenda of this meeting is booth empowerment. That is, how the party should strengthen its every booth, build a team of active workers there, and convey the achievements of the Modi government and the state government to every voter, will be discussed at length. The meeting will also strategize how to maintain better coordination with the allied parties and how to breach the vote bank of the Mahagathbandhan. The BJP has focused on a target of 225 seats this time, so discussions on seat sharing and seat-wise equations within the alliance are also possible.
Rajnath will give the mantra of victory
The address of Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the meeting is considered very important. Rajnath Singh has been an old strategist of the party, and he also has a b hold in Bihar. Along with inspiring the party workers, he will also tell them which issues should be highlighted among the public — such as development, law and order, employment, central government welfare schemes, and the strength of Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
Sources say that Rajnath Singh will also explain to the workers how to expose the weaknesses of the opposition alliance to the public and how to create an atmosphere in favor of the BJP in social media and other mediums.
Modi's Bihar visit increased enthusiasm
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited Bihar four times this year so far and has made big announcements in every visit. This is seeing tremendous enthusiasm among BJP workers. Party leaders believe that with the help of Modi's face and development works, they will be successful in conveying a direct message to the public.
After this meeting on July 2nd, the activity regarding the BJP's election campaign in Bihar will intensify further. Party leaders say that the screening of candidates, social engineering, and alliance policy for the assembly elections will be finalized as per the roadmap prepared in the meeting.
