Education: The application process for the second phase of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PM Internship Scheme 2024-25), administered by the Central Government, has begun. Those who missed the opportunity in the first phase can apply online until March 12, 2025. This time, 100,000 applicants will be given the opportunity to intern at established organizations. Interested candidates can register for internships in their preferred districts by visiting the website pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Who can apply?
* Applicants must be between 21 and 24 years of age.
* Candidates cannot be engaged in any full-time job or regular educational program.
* Students pursuing distance learning and online courses are eligible to apply.
* Candidates who have studied at established institutions such as IITs, IIMs, NLUs, IIITs, IISERs, and NIDs are not eligible for this scheme.
* Individuals whose family's annual income exceeds ₹800,000 or whose family members hold government jobs are not eligible to apply.

Stipend Amount
According to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, this phase will offer internships across 730 districts nationwide. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to intern at established organizations across the country. The government will provide a monthly stipend of ₹5000 to the selected candidates under this scheme. This includes ₹4500 from the Central Government and ₹500 from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds of the organizations.
