Agar Malwa: In the Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh, police arrested two accused, Suresh Sondhiya and Badrilal, along with 253.22 kg of illegal cannabis found in a truck. The police had received information that the truck was about to pass through the Khajuri intersection on Agar Road. During the search, a total of 253.22 kg of cannabis was recovered from 50 packets and one bag, with an estimated value of Rs 1.52 crore. The accused have admitted to supplying the cannabis. The truck has also been seized. A case has been registered against both under the NDPS Act, and interrogation is underway.
Badod police stopped the truck and conducted an inspection.
This action was carried out by the police under the leadership of Krishnakant Tiwari, the in-charge of Badod police station. Under the directives of SP Vinod Kumar Singh and the guidance of ASP Ravindra Kumar Boyat and Sub-Divisional Officer Motilal Kushwaha, the police stopped the truck at the Khajuri intersection on Agar Road.
According to the information, the driver and cleaner were present in the truck (RJ-17 GA-5222). They were identified as Suresh, son of Guman Singh Sondhiya (Malakheda, Ratlam), and Badrilal, son of Mangilal Odh (Borkhedi, Mandsaur).

After questioning both accused, the police searched the truck. During the search, a total of 253.22 kg of illegal cannabis was recovered from 50 packets and one bag. Its estimated value is Rs 1.52 crore.
The truck, valued at approximately Rs 20 lakh, was also seized. During interrogation, both accused admitted to transporting the cannabis. A case has been registered against them under the NDPS Act.
The accused will be presented in court today.
The police are interrogating the accused regarding the transportation, storage, and the suppliers and distributors of the illicit narcotic substance. Officials state that further significant revelations are possible.
