Union Home Minister Amit Shah supported the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the national flag at his residence on Wednesday. He stated that this initiative, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has become a mass movement further strengthening the spirit of unity and patriotism in the country.
New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah hoisted the national flag at his residence on Wednesday as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. On this occasion, he said that this initiative has now become a mass movement, further strengthening the feeling of patriotism. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been started under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, which aims to inspire people to hoist the tricolor at their homes to commemorate India's independence.
Objective and Importance of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been launched under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Its purpose is to inspire the citizens of the country to hoist the tricolor in their homes on the occasion of Independence Day. Through this initiative, emphasis is being laid on awakening the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of people and increasing awareness about the national flag.
On this occasion, Home Minister Amit Shah said, “This campaign, which started under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has today become a mass movement uniting the country and strengthening the spirit of patriotism. It shows how b the will power of the countrymen is.”
Amit Shah Hoists Tricolor at His Residence
Shah shared on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) that he hoisted the national flag at his residence with his wife, Sonal Shah. He stated that this campaign helps in connecting every citizen with the spirit of patriotism and explaining the importance of the tricolor. The Home Minister said, this campaign demonstrates that 140 crore countrymen are determined to develop and make the India of freedom that the freedom fighters dreamed of with their sacrifice, penance, and dedication, the best.
Shah also mentioned that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative emphasizes that people's relationship with the national flag should not be merely formal or institutional but also personal and emotional. He said that the national flag is the greatest symbol of intensifying the spirit of patriotism in the heart of every Indian.
He further added that through this campaign, citizens remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the importance of independence by hoisting the tricolor in their homes. This is an opportunity to add patriotism to the life of every citizen and spread the feeling of national love in the society.
