Anurag Thakur Counters Rahul Gandhi's Vote Theft Allegations, Cites Duplicate Voters

BJP leader Anurag Thakur has countered Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav's allegations of vote theft. He mentioned fake voters from Raebareli to Kannauj and said that Congress resorts to misleading the public with allegations after losing elections.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has bly countered Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegations of vote theft and election irregularities. BJP leader Anurag Thakur claimed that there were fake voters from Raebareli to Kannauj and accused the Congress of defaming the election process. He stated that 45 names are registered in one house in Raebareli, while there are more than 2,91,000 duplicate votes in Kannauj.

Anurag Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi constantly finds new excuses after losing elections and never introspects or examines himself. He targeted the Congress, saying that the opposition is already starting propaganda regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. Thakur said, "Yesterday, some Congress leaders were saying that Rahul Gandhi and the opposition created a whirlwind. Actually, it's a 'blunder.' Rahul Ji is afraid of losing elections, so he is making allegations."

BJP's Allegation on Congress

Anurag Thakur said that Congress always accuses democracy and the Election Commission after losing elections. He said, "Congress sometimes calls EVMs hacked, and sometimes questions VVPAT. After losing in Bihar, allegations are being made again. The foundation of electoral corruption was laid by the Congress itself. During the Emergency in 1975, Indira Gandhi called voters a bunch of fools. Rahul Gandhi is trying to demean democracy."

The BJP leader also mentioned the Maharashtra and Karnataka elections, saying that Rahul Gandhi questioned the increase in voters in Maharashtra, while it happened under his own party's rule. He also claimed that in the case of a Dalit minister in Karnataka, the Congress dismissed him, which shows the lack of internal democracy in the party.

Counterattack on Fake Voters

Countering Rahul Gandhi's example of Karnataka's Mahadevapura seat, Anurag Thakur said that 45 people from the same house are on the voter list in Raebareli, but Rahul Gandhi does not see this. In Diamond Harbour, 54,78 votes are registered in one house, this question is also a challenge for the Congress. He also alleged that Congress is only doing politics on the vote bank of infiltrators.

Anurag Thakur said that how 47 voters like Mohammad Islam, Mohammad Kasim, Shakeel Ansari, and Shabnam became from the same house in Raebareli is not a question for Rahul Gandhi. In Wayanad also, 54 votes are registered in the same house, while more than 2,99,000 fake voters have been found in Raebareli.

Duplicate Voters in Kannauj

2,91,798 duplicate votes were found in Kannauj, while this area was won by a margin of only 1,70,922 votes. Anurag Thakur said that opposition leaders try to mislead the public through false propaganda before the elections. He told Rahul Gandhi that he should introspect before the Bihar elections and clarify his election agenda.

Concluding, Anurag Thakur said, "Despite the claims of vote theft and false allegations, the public has chosen the Modi government. The opposition is only engaged in making noise, but the people of the country have understood its truth."
